Rogbid SpinX smartwatch arrives with an optical scroll wheel and 1 100 mAh battery for weeks-long use

Rogbid has introduced the SpinX smartwatch, a budget-focused wearable that leans on an unusual control feature: an optical scroll wheel designed for faster menu navigation and more precise adjustments than touch alone.

The company says the wheel can be used for day-to-day tasks such as moving through widgets, controlling music playback and volume, and tweaking on-watch functions without covering the display with a finger.

Display and flashlight features

The SpinX is built around a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 466 x 466 resolution. Rogbid also lists 99.5% Adobe RGB color accuracy, positioning the panel as a key upgrade for the price tier.

Another standout is a built-in flashlight paired with an optical lens and deeper reflector for a more focused beam. It includes High Beam, Strobe and SOS modes, aiming to make the watch more useful for outdoor scenarios and emergencies.

Battery, durability and sensors

Rogbid rates the 1 100 mAh battery for up to 40 days of typical use and as much as 100 days on standby, figures that far exceed most mainstream smartwatches but can vary widely based on settings and usage.

The watch is listed with 3ATM water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification, alongside a compass for basic navigation. Health tools include continuous heart-rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring and sleep tracking, plus support for more than 100 sports modes.

Price and availability

The SpinX supports Bluetooth 5.4 features such as calling, notification mirroring and music controls. Rogbid also offers multiple watch faces and customization options for the interface.

Pricing is set at $49.99, with color options including a black case and a scroll wheel accent in Tech Black or Vibrant Orange. Rogbid is selling the SpinX through its official store.
