Samsung Wallet adds Trips travel timeline: the new hub for flights, hotels and tickets rolling out in Korea, the US and the UK
Samsung is adding a new Trips feature to Samsung Wallet, aiming to pull travel reservations and tickets into a single, organized view. The company says the goal is to reduce the need to jump between separate apps, emails, and confirmations.
At the center of the update is a Trip timeline that groups eligible items by time and location, creating a chronological plan from departure through return. Samsung positions it as a way to add structure to packed itineraries and make key details easier to find quickly.
What Trips can organize?
Trips supports a wide range of travel content, including hotel bookings, flight itineraries, and car rentals, along with excursions and event entries. It can also surface tickets for buses and trains, as well as passes for theme parks and sporting events.
Samsung Wallet will also let users add itinerary items manually, which could help when reservations are not imported automatically. Travelers can attach memos to saved items, such as check-in notes, seat details, or reminders about baggage rules.
Rollout starts in three markets
Samsung says Trips will begin rolling out in Samsung Wallet later this month in Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Availability and supported booking sources can vary by region, and some items may require manual entry depending on the provider.
