Lenovo has confirmed it will unveil two new Legion Android tablets on May 19, expanding its lineup beyond the recently refreshed compact Legion Y700 series. The company is positioning the devices as larger-screen options that can double as productivity machines.

The upcoming models are expected to be called the Legion Y900 11 and Legion Y900 13, indicating 11-inch and 13-inch class displays. They would follow the Legion Y900 introduced in 2023, which later appeared in some markets under a different name.

Keyboard cases point to productivity

Lenovo’s teaser imagery shows both tablets paired with keyboard cases, underscoring a laptop-style use case alongside entertainment and gaming. The smaller model is also shown with stylus support, suggesting note-taking and creative workflows are part of the pitch.

Camera hardware may also differ between the two sizes, with the larger tablet shown with a dual rear camera layout. Separate leak chatter in recent weeks has pointed to a single rear camera on the smaller variant, though Lenovo has not detailed imaging specs.

Global release remains an open question

Lenovo has not said whether the new Legion Y900 tablets will launch outside China, but recent Legion tablets have received wider distribution under alternate branding. The company previously released the earlier Y900 internationally as the Lenovo Tab Extreme, leaving the door open for a similar strategy.

With the event roughly a month away, more teasers and regulatory listings typically fill in key specifications such as chipset, display refresh rate, and battery size. For now, Lenovo is signaling a two-size approach designed to compete for users who want a large Android tablet that can behave more like a PC.
