Lenovo has cut the price of its Legion Tab Gen 3 gaming tablet to $379 in the US, reflecting a roughly 30% discount from its typical list price. The offer is available through Lenovo’s official online store and is promoted as time-limited.

The discounted configuration includes 12 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, aimed at players who want a small Android tablet with flagship-class specs. Lenovo’s promotion may require entering a checkout coupon, depending on the region and stock status.

Compact screen built for gaming

The Legion Tab Gen 3 uses an 8.8-inch 2 560 x 1 600 LTPS display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, positioning it against other compact performance tablets. While it is not OLED, the panel targets smooth motion and strong color coverage for games and streaming.

Inside, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, paired with active-style cooling that includes a vapor chamber to manage heat. Performance can still throttle under sustained load, but the design is intended to hold up better during longer sessions than earlier models.

Battery and ports are key perks

Lenovo also leans on battery longevity as a selling point, with testing in reviews showing long video playback at moderate brightness settings. The tablet’s dual USB-C ports add flexibility for charging and accessories, a practical advantage for handheld play.

Potential buyers should note a few trade-offs, including the lack of cellular connectivity on this specific variant and limited peak full-screen brightness for outdoor use. As with many promotion-driven discounts, the final price can change quickly if inventory tightens or the coupon expires.
