Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4C debuts in China: 75-minute runtime and a blue light designed to spot hidden dust
Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4C in China, positioning it as a value-focused cordless model that prioritizes longer battery life and easier low-light cleaning. The vacuum arrives in a white-and-silver finish with orange accents and a body that can recline nearly flat to reach under furniture.
A standout feature is a built-in blue light that projects at a 180-degree angle to help reveal debris that is easy to miss on hard floors. Xiaomi says the light is effective across roughly 30 cm in front of the cleaning head, aiming to make quick passes more precise.
Power and cleaning attachments
The Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4C uses a motor rated at 110 000 rpm and is advertised to deliver up to 170 AW of suction. Xiaomi also includes an anti-tangle main brush intended to reduce hair wrap, a common pain point for cordless stick vacuums.
The main head is designed for edge cleaning, with an added tool on the right side meant to better capture dust along baseboards and corners. Xiaomi also ships multiple brush-head attachments to cover different surfaces and tight spaces.
Battery life, filtration, and price
For filtration, Xiaomi claims a five-stage system, a spec increasingly common as brands compete on fine-particle capture and reduced dust blowback. The vacuum is powered by a 2 600 mAh battery that Xiaomi estimates can last up to 75 minutes per charge, depending on the mode used.
In China, the Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4C is listed at CNY 799, or about $117 at current exchange rates. Xiaomi has not confirmed international availability, though the company continues to expand its vacuum lineup in Europe, including the higher-end Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max.
