Xiaomi Mijia Smart Electric Water Heater C 60L arrives in China with HyperOS Connect and a 2 200 W boost

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Electric Water Heater C 60L in China, positioning it as a fast-heating, app-connected appliance for bathrooms and family homes.

The new model is already available for pre-order through Xiaomi’s domestic retail channels.

The tank capacity is 60 liters, and Xiaomi says the unit can deliver up to 360 liters of hot water under typical mixing conditions. The company also claims this output can support roughly 72 minutes of hot running water, depending on usage and temperature settings.

Heating power and temperature range

The water heater is rated at 2 200 W and supports a temperature range from 30°C to 75°C. That ceiling is intended to cover common household needs, from warm showers to hotter water for cleaning.

Xiaomi lists the product as a Class 1 energy-efficient appliance under Chinese standards, aiming to appeal to buyers watching electricity costs.

The unit measures 740 x 461 x 432 mm, reflecting a wall-mounted design typical of compact bathroom installations.

HyperOS Connect ties into Xiaomi

Smart features include HyperOS Connect support, allowing the heater to integrate with Xiaomi’s broader smart home ecosystem. Users can control settings remotely in the Xiaomi app, set schedules, and use voice commands where supported.

In China, Xiaomi has priced the Mijia Smart Electric Water Heater C 60L at CNY 999, which is about $140 to $150 depending on exchange rates. There is no indication of a European launch, where Xiaomi’s lineup includes other smart home devices but not yet a smart water heater.
