Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max launches wider: 280 AirWatt power and a 90-minute claim put Dyson rivals on notice
Xiaomi is expanding the availability of its cordless stick model, the Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max, bringing it to additional markets including Germany and the US.
The company is positioning the device as a premium option, with pricing around 400 euros in Germany and about $324 in the US, depending on the retailer.
The G30 Max targets a segment dominated by Dyson and other high-end brands, leaning on performance metrics that shoppers often compare directly. Xiaomi rates the vacuum at up to 280 AirWatt of suction power and lists up to 25 000 Pa, figures that place it firmly in the flagship cordless category.
Battery life depends on attachments
Xiaomi advertises up to 90 minutes of runtime, but that headline number applies to an energy-saving mode paired with a 2-in-1 crevice brush. With the electric floor brush attached, the company says runtime drops to up to 70 minutes, a more realistic scenario for whole-floor cleaning.
Like many recent cordless models, the G30 Max is designed to reduce manual tweaking during use. An automatic mode uses a dust sensor to adjust suction power based on debris levels, while a color indicator provides a visual readout of how dirty the surface is.
Filtration and visibility are key
Xiaomi also highlights a multi-stage filtration system that it claims captures 99.98 percent of fine dust, aiming to limit particles being expelled back into the air. The design includes visible cyclone elements, reinforcing the product’s direct appeal to shoppers familiar with Dyson-style engineering.
For practical cleaning, the electric floor brush includes illumination intended to make dust easier to spot in low light. Xiaomi says additional attachments include a specialized brush designed to remove pet hair from animals such as dogs.
