Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL 8KHz hits a new low on Amazon as esports features drive demand
Amazon has dropped the price of Razer’s Huntsman V3 Pro TKL 8KHz to a new low, positioning the tenkeyless esports keyboard as one of the more aggressive deals in the premium segment. The discount puts Razer’s latest analog optical model within reach of buyers who have been waiting for a meaningful price cut.
The Huntsman V3 Pro TKL is built around a 5052 aluminium alloy top case and doubleshot PBT keycaps, materials typically reserved for higher-end boards. Its compact layout removes the number pad, a format many competitive players prefer for extra mouse space.
Analog optical switches, tuned fast
The headline feature is Razer’s Gen-2 Analog Optical Switches, which support adjustable actuation from 0.1 mm up to 4.0 mm. That range lets users set hair-trigger inputs for shooters or deeper presses for typing, without changing switches.
Because the switches can output analog-like control, the keyboard can mimic gradual input in supported games, similar to a controller stick. Dual-step actuation also allows two actions on one keypress, such as walking at a light press and sprinting when fully pressed.
Rapid Trigger and on-board control
Razer’s Rapid Trigger mode is designed to reset keys faster, helping with repeated movements and quick strafing inputs. The board also includes Snap Tap for more responsive directional changes, a feature aimed at tightening movement timing in competitive play.
Many of the key feel and trigger behaviors can be adjusted directly on the keyboard, reducing dependence on software for basic tuning. For deeper customization, the keyboard supports programmable inputs, macros, and integration with Razer Synapse.
8 000 Hz polling and profile memory
The Huntsman V3 Pro TKL supports an 8 000 Hz polling rate, which reduces the interval between reports to the PC compared with standard 1 000 Hz keyboards. In practice, the benefit depends on the full setup and game, but it is a popular spec for latency-conscious buyers.
Razer also includes N-key rollover with anti-ghosting, a dedicated gaming mode, and hybrid onboard storage for up to six profiles. A detachable USB Type-C cable and per-key Chroma RGB lighting round out the package for portability and customization.
