CMF Watch 3 Pro India launch nears: 13-day battery life and a few AI extras could shake up the sub-Rs 7,000 segment

Nothing’s budget-focused CMF brand has confirmed that the CMF Watch 3 Pro is heading to India soon, after earlier teasers hinted at an imminent launch.

The smartwatch debuted globally in July 2025, and the company is now preparing to bring it to one of its biggest growth markets.

The move puts fresh pressure on the crowded affordable smartwatch space, where long battery life and bright AMOLED screens have become key selling points. CMF is positioning the Watch 3 Pro as a feature-rich option that still targets an accessible price band.

Display, build and durability

The CMF Watch 3 Pro is built around a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display with 466 x 466 resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. CMF says brightness reaches up to 670 nits with automatic adjustment to help visibility outdoors.

The watch uses an aluminium alloy middle frame paired with a liquid silicone strap, and it carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. That should make it suitable for everyday wear and workouts, though it is not marketed as a dedicated diving device.

Health tracking and sports focus

For health monitoring, the device includes a four-channel optical heart-rate sensor that CMF claims improves accuracy by more than 10 percent over the previous generation. It also supports continuous SpO2 tracking, stress monitoring, and enhanced sleep analysis with sleep-zone insights.

Fitness features include more than 130 sports modes and automatic workout detection for select activities. Women’s health tracking is included as well, reflecting a broader shift toward more comprehensive wellness features in budget wearables.

Battery life and smart features

CMF rates the 350 mAh battery for up to 13 days under typical use, with heavier usage estimated at around 10 to 11 days. With always-on display enabled, CMF says battery life may drop to roughly 3.5 to 4.5 days.

On the software side, the Watch 3 Pro adds AI-style fitness tools such as a running coach, recovery guidance, and workout summaries, alongside gesture controls and real-time news updates. It also offers voice note transcription and ChatGPT integration, with watch faces and settings managed through the Nothing X app on Android and iOS.

Availability is expected in May, with sales likely via Flipkart and offline retail channels, though the company has not shared an exact date. Pricing has not been officially confirmed, but the watch is widely expected to land under Rs 7,000, a range that could make its battery claims a key differentiator.
