Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner P30 lands in Germany at €80, betting big on its 1.46 kg design
Xiaomi has expanded its Vacuum Cleaner P30 to more markets, with the lightweight 2-in-1 cordless model now listed in Germany. The company positions it as a budget-friendly option for quick cleanups, priced at 80 euros.
Weighing 1.46 kg in total, the P30 is built around portability rather than a bulky upright form factor. Xiaomi says the main unit weighs 860 g, aiming to make above-floor tasks like cleaning furniture, curtains and ceilings less tiring.
Specs target everyday cleaning
Xiaomi rates suction at 50 AirWatt and up to 22 000 Pa, with a motor speed of up to 110 000 rpm. Like many compact cordless vacuums, the headline figures focus on peak performance rather than sustained runtime.
Battery life is quoted at up to 40 minutes in energy-saving mode when using the floor brush or 2-in-1 nozzle. In turbo mode, Xiaomi says the maximum runtime drops to about 10 minutes, reflecting the trade-off between power and endurance.
Filtration, tools and use cases
The P30 uses a multi-stage filtration system with an initial cyclone stage for early dust separation. Xiaomi claims it can capture particles down to 0.3 µm and reach up to 99.8 percent filtration efficiency.
The lightweight floor brush is designed to help reach under furniture, while the 2-in-1 brush and crevice nozzle expand the vacuum’s use beyond floors. Xiaomi highlights scenarios such as cleaning car interiors and small electronics like keyboards.
With the P30, Xiaomi is competing in a crowded entry-level cordless segment where weight and convenience can matter as much as raw suction. Buyers are likely to weigh the low price and portability against the shorter turbo runtime typical of compact designs.
