Vivo has been buzzing with announcements lately, and the pace shows no sign of slowing. The Chinese tech giant, which rolled out four new smartphones just last week, continues to expand its lineup with yet another addition.
In June, Vivo introduced the Y400 Pro 5G, and just yesterday, the standard Vivo Y400 was unveiled, featuring support for 4G networks. But the spotlight is now shifting to an upcoming model in the same series — this time equipped with 5G capabilities. The new Vivo Y400 5G is set to make its debut on August 4 and will be available in two colors: white and green.

While Vivo has yet to reveal the full specs, early indications suggest the Y400 5G will closely resemble its 4G sibling — with one major difference expected to be the chipset powering the device.
If the rumors hold, the new model will boast a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also tipped to include a hefty 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
On the rear, the Y400 5G is expected to feature a dual-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP main sensor and accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor.
All details will be officially confirmed on August 4, when Vivo unveils the Y400 5G in full.
