Xiaomi’s budget Redmi lineup is gearing up for another refresh, and the first reliable details about the Redmi 15C 5G have just leaked. Expected to join the Redmi 15 series in an August launch, the 15C 5G brings solid specs at an affordable price.
The leaked information from XpertPick reveals that the Redmi 15C 5G will feature a large 6.9-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600 × 720) and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen sports a waterdrop-style notch up front, while the rear hosts a stylish squircle-shaped module housing a single 50 MP main camera.
Although the exact processor remains unconfirmed, rumors suggest the standard Redmi 15 5G might use the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, while the Redmi 15C 4G version reportedly employs the Helio G81. Regardless of the chipset, the 15C 5G promises 4 GB RAM paired with either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. Powering the device is a sizeable 6,000 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging.

On the software side, the handset is expected to ship with Android 15 layered with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Design-wise, it will arrive in playful color options, including black, lavender, and green.
The Redmi 15 series — including the 15C 5G — is anticipated to launch in multiple global markets, including Europe, later this August. We’ll keep you updated as more specifications and official announcements become available.
