Crimson Desert Drops a Free Steam Soundtrack: 75-Track Volume 1 Is Available Now

Fans of Crimson Desert have a new freebie to pick up on PC, with the game’s Original Soundtrack Volume 1 now available as a no-cost download on Steam.

The same release is also being offered through the Epic Games Store, expanding access beyond Valve’s platform.

The download packages 75 tracks drawn from the action RPG’s music, spanning story themes, combat cues and exploration pieces. According to the store listing, the collection is arranged into four discs with a total runtime of more than four and a half hours.

What the free OST includes?

Volume 1 is presented as a sizeable bundle, weighing in at roughly 5.4 GB, which suggests high-quality audio files rather than a lightweight sampler.

For players who have praised the game’s atmosphere, the standalone release makes it easier to revisit key musical moments outside gameplay.

The official credits list Pearl Abyss audio leadership on the album, with Executive Audio Director Hwiman Ryu and Music Director Inro Joo named alongside additional composers. The compilation also includes extra pieces used in past Crimson Desert trailers, including music associated with early showcase footage.

Why Pearl Abyss is doing it?

Soundtrack giveaways have become a common way for publishers to keep attention on a major release, especially as post-launch patches roll out. For Crimson Desert, the timing also reinforces word-of-mouth momentum as players continue to discuss performance updates and gameplay tweaks.

Pearl Abyss has indicated the soundtrack is expected to reach major streaming platforms later, though a firm date has not been broadly standardized across storefront messaging. For now, the Steam and Epic offers provide the clearest path to claim the music immediately.

Crimson Desert launched as a single-player open-world title and has maintained an unusually active player base for a non-live-service game on Steam. While critical reception has been solid, community sentiment has frequently singled out the soundtrack as one of the release’s standout elements.
