Xbox Game Pass May 2026 lineup takes shape: 9 games confirmed so far, led by Forza Horizon 6
Xbox Game Pass is already building momentum for May 2026, with nine titles confirmed for the service and more expected to be announced closer to the month. The early slate mixes major releases with smaller projects, giving subscribers a clearer view of what the next wave could look like.
The current list includes Final Fantasy V on May 5, Mixtape on May 7, and Call of the Elder Gods on May 12. Forza Horizon 6 is set for May 19, followed by Beastro on May 21, Echo Generation 2 on May 27, and Crashout Crew on May 28.
Two Game Pass dates still pending
Two additional May entries have been confirmed without specific launch days: RV There Yet? and Subnautica 2, which is expected to arrive as an early-access release. Microsoft typically fills out its Game Pass calendar in stages, so this lineup is likely incomplete.
Most of the May 2026 additions are positioned as day-one arrivals, continuing Microsoft’s strategy of using new releases to strengthen its subscription value. Availability can vary by tier and platform, so some games may be limited to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass at launch.
Forza Horizon 6 is the centerpiece
Among the confirmed titles, Forza Horizon 6 stands out as the biggest draw, with Playground Games’ open-world racing series remaining one of Xbox’s flagship franchises. The setting in Japan has been a long-running fan request, adding extra interest ahead of release.
May’s roadmap also follows a busy end to April 2026, when additional games are scheduled to land on the service in the final days of the month. With May still weeks away, subscribers can expect more announcements, including release dates and tier details, in the usual mid-month updates.
